Cow Family Reference Library Added to Holstein Plaza
Holstein Plaza has added a Cow Family Reference Library for its users. In each edition of the Hotspots magazine there are 2 in depth articles on Cow Families from around the world. We wanted to have this information available to breeders for researching a particular family. You can find this library of information on the Hotspots page by selecting the Hotspots tab on the home page. The articles are available for viewing online or downloading.

Top Genomic Lists Updated
The top genomic lists from the December proof run have been updated. These lists include the top 25 heifers, top 25 cows and the top 25 heifers and cows with no Shottle, Goldwyn or Oman in their pedigree.
To date, there have been over 24,000 females that have been genomically tested in the United States. There is a new #1 female in the breed, Leaderwin Domain Mist at +2498. Owned by Oakfield Corners Dairy of NY, this Domain heifer is from a Jeeves that is due to calve this winter, followed by a VG-89 Shottle that is from the Da-Net Patron Pansy family.
