Successful Sale for Savage-Leigh
Holstein Plaza member, Savage-Leigh Holsteins ended Wednesday night of World Dairy Expo on a high note. The Get In The Game sale was a huge success with many lots selling for over $10,000. Topping the sale was Midas-Touch Jedi Jangle, selling for $77,000! Congratulations to Chip Savage-Leigh and friends and good luck to the new owners of these animals.

Savage-Leigh Absl Leona EX-92 was named Grand Champion of the Pennsylvania Spring Holstein Show held yesterday in Harrisburg. She is a direct daughter of Savage-Leigh Leona (include link) EX-96 GMD and sired by Apples Absolute-Red. Congratulations to the Savage family for breeding another great one!

Galton and Savage take home Senior Champion honors
It was a tremendous day for the juniors of Roll-N-View and Savage-Leigh taking home Reserve Grand Champion and Senior Champion of the International Junior Holstein Show with Mor-Yet Goldwyn Faithful the winning aged cow. Reserve Senior Champion honors went to the second place aged cow also owned by Galtons, TC Doorman Kristina. Congratulations! Mor-Yet Goldwyn Faithful, EX-94 was named 1st Aged Cow and Grand Champion on Saturday at the Maryland Holstein Spring Show. The Savage-Leigh Bellwood Linda family had a tremendous day at the All-American Dairy Show yesterday. Several family members won did well in the various classes! Selling in the Holstein Plaza Online Heifer Sale are a Goldwyn daughter from the 1st Place 150,000 Lb. Ms D Apple Danielle-Red EX-92 is the Reserve Champion from the All-American R&W Show 2015. Earlier during the day Danielle was the Sr. Champion and the 1st Place 4-Yr-Old! Danielle is a Destry granddaughter of Apple EX-96. The Destry granddaughter of the tremendous Apple, Danielle is sired by Destry and backed by the EX-94 Talent Delicious. Interested in purchasing a red Apple, owner Amanda Kennedy purchased Danielle with her father at the North American Breeder Showcase Sale in the spring of 2011. A fall calf at the time, Danielle wasn’t the biggest but a nice heifer and a solid investment as the Apple’s were just gaining momentum. Chip Savage housed Danielle as a two-year-old and decided to partner. Danielle was just named Grand Champion of the 2015 New York Spring International Red & White Show and you can vote for her as your favorite show cow in the ShowSpots competition. READ MORE

Savage-Leigh Leona added another class win to her impressive show record, this time the Allen daughter owned by Savage-Leigh won the 150,000 Lbs. Cow Class at the New York International Spring Holstein Show. Leona is a daughter of Savage-Leigh Licorice EX-92 who was the Grand Champion at the New York International Spring Holstein Show in 2006!
