Scientific Gold Dana Rae wins Midwest Fall National!
The Midwest Fall National Holstein Show was held yesterday in St. Paul, Minnesota with a Goldwyn daughter of Scientific Debutante Rae taking home grand champion honors. Scientific Gold Dana Rae-ET was named first five-year-old, senior champion and grand champion overall. Dana Rae is owned by Budjon Farms, Joel Kietzman and Clark Woodmansee. Reserve grand champion honors went to the winning four-year-old and reserve senior champion, Xcaret Durham Aunkia (Durham x Dundee), owned by David Hoese.

World Dairy Expo entries close Sept. 1
MADISON, WIS. – Cattle exhibitors wishing to compete at World Dairy Expo 2012 should log on to World Dairy Expo’s website now and submit their entries. According to Dairy Cattle Show Manager, Laura Herschleb, entry fees will increase at midnight (CDT) on Saturday, September 1. Paper applications must also be postmarked by that date to avoid late entry fees. Staff will be available to answer entry questions now and provide answers to show-related questions as Expo approaches. New photo of Allyndale-i Sanchez Angelica, the first VG daughter of Ms Atlees Shottle Aubrey and scored VG-85-2YR-CAN and 86-MS. Angelica calved at 23 months and is projecting 11,000 kgs milk. She is already in calf to calve for the spring shows in 2013 + start a new flushing schedule. Angelica is on her way to be a future brood cow as her progeny are fancy and looking superb!
