Another tremendous Sale of Stars!
Congratulations to sale managers Brian Craswell Sale Ltd and Blondin International Inc. for another tremendous Sale of Stars averaging $28,650. High seller of the evening was an added lot from David Dyment and Sebastien Dion and sold for $250,000, Sully Numero Uno Maribel. Maribel is a +2596 GTPI (GPA-LPI+3699/DGV+4002) Numero Uno from Sully Planet Manitoba and was purchased by Butz-Hill Holsteins. Lot 94 was the second high seller of the evening at $245,000, Jolicap Mogul Carmey, the #1 GTPI Mogul worldwide at +2626 GTPI. Carmey is a granddaughter of Ralma Goldwyn Carmel EX-92 2E DOM. Third high seller was a first choice from the high seller on Tuesday's Genetics by Design Sale, OConnors Last Hope. The choice from the +2672 GTPI Numero Uno sold for $210,000 to Stanton Farms. Also selling for more than $200,000 was Lot 2, Cookiecutter MOM Hue-ET, the Very Good-86-2-YR Mano-O-Man daughter with a GTPI of +2344 and sold with multiple A.I. and embryo contracts to Diamond Genetics, Genervations, OConnors and Mapel Wood.
Hailey takes home Grand Champion title!
RF Goldwyn Hailey takes home the grand champion title of the 2012 National Holstein Show at the Royal Winter Fair completing her domination on both sides of the border for owner Gen-Com Holsteins. A total of 324 head were exhibited before judge Callum McKinven. Taking home junior champion honors was the winning fall calf, MD-Dun-Loafin Lauth Elli-ET, exhibited by Michael Heath and David Dyment. Reserve junior champion was the first place winter yearling, Petitclerc Alexander Amycale, exhibited by Ferme JP Petitclerc & Fils. Intermediate Champion was the winning senior three-year-old, Cookview Goldwyn Monique, owned by Jeff Butler and Joe & Amber Price. Reserve intermediate champion was awarded to the first place junior three-year-old, Robrook Goldwyn Cameron, owned by Gen-Com Holsteins. The second place aged cow, Ebyholme Goldwyn Marcia, was tapped as reserve grand champion of the show.

Selling on Monday at the Hartford Genomic Extravaganza Sale is a *RC *PO Colt P daughter from the EX-91 Shottle Deluxe Rae with a GTPI+1983 and +3.13T. Also selling as Lot 50 is a *RC Epic from the tremendous Planet Silk, Dymentholm Sunview Shar-ET *RC. Shar has a GTPI of +2259 +661NM$ +2.62T and sells with multiple A.I. contracts and embryo contract at $1300/embryo.

#1 DPR Armitage daughter in the breed sells at the Hartford Genomic Extraganza on Monday, November 12. She has a GTPI of +2304 and is 3.4 DPR! She sells with several contracts and is the Armitage daughter of Ralma Mac Beauty VG-87 and a sister to Playball MNOM Bounty VG-85 GTPI +2266.
