NEW Guinness World Record holder
Gillette E Smurf EX-91 as of last week is officially a Guinness World Record holder! She was awarded this title for the cow that has produced the most milk in her lifetime. She will be 16 years old in September and is due May 9, 2012 with her 11th calf. Smurf is a sixth generation VG or EX going back to the Maeford Starbuck Crissy EX 17* family. Smurf only has one daughter left at La Ferme Gillette, an EX Champion. A big CONGRATULATIONS to the team at La Ferme Gillette!
Snowman granddaughter of Crimson SELLS!
Selling on the National Convention Sale in Brandon, Manitoba on Thursday, April 19 is a May 2011 Snowman daughter of Larcrest Chima-ETS VG-86 (Planet x Crimson). Snowman Cilantro sells with a a $12,000 base A.I. contract and a GTPI of +2171.

Sudview Nordale Gold Liberty named Grand at New York!
Sudview Nordale Gold Liberty was just named Grand Champion of the 2012 New York Spring International Holstein Show. Liberty was the winning five-year-old and exhibited by Ferme Blondin. Reserve Grand Champion and also by Goldwyn was the second place five-year-old, Tween Bays Sara Goldwyn, exhibited by Gen-Com Holsteins.
Champions from New York Spring Red & White Show
Blondin Redman Seisme-Red took home Grand Champion of the 2012 New York Spring Red & White Show. Seisme was exhibited by Milksource Genetics. Androscoggin-I Redlight-Red was named Reserve Grand Champion and was the winning Senior Three-Year-Old. Redlight was exhibited by Hank Van Exel and Triple-T Holsteins. The pair of Fall Yearlings took home top honors in the heifers show with Whitdale-D Hvezda Sky-Red being named Junior Champion and Tomkins Mrbrn Sizzle-Red named Reserve Junior Champion. Sky was exhibited by Hill, Umbel and Richard Green and Sizzle was exhibited by Brodie Bunkleman.
Atlantic Spring Showcase results for Eastside Holsteins
A tremendous Atlantic Spring Showcase Show for Eastside Holsteins receiving the honor of Premier Breeder and Exhibitor as well as 1st Breeders herd. Eastside Kite Tristin EX-94 (Mature Cow) was Reserve Grand Champion and Eastside Fortune Oriole EX-93 (Five-Year-Old) was Honorable Mention Grand Champion. Other highlights include 2nd Senior Three-Year-Old with Eastside Dolman Dannielle and 1st Senior Two-Year-Old and Intermediate Champion with Lewisdale Eastside Gold Acura. In the heifer show, Eastside took home the second place ribbon in the junior yearling and fall calf classes.

The Minnesota Spring Special Sale is underway in Rochester, Minn. and highlighting the sale is Lot 1: Larcrest Callaway-ET the +2234 GTPI Robust granddaughter of Larcrest Cosmopolitan and daughter of Larcrest Comet. Callway sold for $18,700 to Cederwal Farms and was the consignment of Larcrest Holsteins.
