Duckett Holsteins Announces Summer Selections Sale

Duckett Holsteins has announced the date of their Summer Selections Sale. Duckett Holsteins will offer 50 of their finest and an additioinal 25 consignemnts from other breeders on June 11, 2021. An open house will precede the scheduled evening sale being managed by The Alliance of Hill and Abbott.

High Producing Cows in January 2021

Holstein USA has released their list of cows who have completed a lactation of at least 40,000 pounds of milk that was recieved in January 2021. To appear on this list, animals must be in a herd enrolled in the TriStar Program. The list included over 1000 females from across the United States including three females who produced over 60,000 pounds of milk. Ms Arjeta-ET, owned by Thomas J. Kestell of Wisconsin, topped the list with a record of 68,760 pounds of milk, 1,674 pounds of fat, and 1,918 pounds of protein. Following close behind, from the same herd of Thomas Kestell, was Ever-Green-View ASP producing 65,560 pounds of milk. The third female to produce over 60,000 pounds of milk was Donnaview Golwyn Eye Candy-ET owned by Jason Volker & Mark A. Sollien of Iowa. Congratulations to all the breeders and owners of animals who produced over 40,000 pounds of milk!
