Dairy Cattle Entries Now Open for World Dairy Expo
MADISON – World Dairy Expo’s 2014 dairy cattle entries are now open. Exhibitors can choose to enter through the Expo online entry system or by mail. Initial entry deadline is Sunday, Aug. 31, 2014. Premium Books were mailed to recent year’s exhibitors July 1. The Premium Book is also available online or new exhibitors can request a copy from World Dairy Expo at 608-224-6455. Classification results from Siemers Holsteins
Siemers had an Excellent classification day recenlty with a total of 22 new Excellent cows, this makes the herd total 113 EX cows! Also over 100 new VG cows were scored bringing the total to 782 VG cows, 129 of them being 2-Year-Olds. CLICK HERE to read the classification highlights.

Albada rejoins the team at Holstein Plaza
Hendrik Albada has rejoined Holstein Plaza serving as project coordinator. “In 2013, Hendrik spent 7-months serving as the Holstein Plaza marketing intern. National Convention Sale averages $14,345
The 2014 National Holstein Convention Sale held last night in Dubuque, Iowa brought out a huge crowd and a deep lineup of sale animals. High seller of the evening was Lot 10: Berryridge Massy Lachese selling for $80,000. Lachese is the No. 3 Massey daughter in North America has a proven sire stack and a GTPI of +2449G. Selling for $60,000 was a First Choice Female from 10 Kingboy pregnancies due in December from Larcrest Cale VG-89 DOM.
