Siemers win Junior Champion and Reserve at Minnesota State Fair
Siemers Holsteins took home top honors in the heifer show with Junior Champion and Reserve of today's Minnesota State Fair Red & White Holstein Show. The winning winter yearling and 2014 All-American Winter Calf, Siemers Defnt Great-Red was named Junior Champion and the winning fall calf, Siemers Hvz Jubilina-Red was named Reserve Junior Champion.
In the cow show, top honors went to a pair of senior three-year-olds. Rockey-Benfer R Cutie-Red was named Intermediate and Grand Champion of the show for MilkSource Genetics and second place senior three-year-old, Miss Alabama-Red was Reserve Intermediate and Reserve Grand Champion for Stranshome and Westcoast. Honorable Mention Grand Champion and Senior Champion was awarded to the production cow, Jen-D Devil Tiffany-Red.
