The Eastern Elite Sale, to be held at the All-American Dairy show in Harrisburg, PA at 5:30pm on September 10th holds some exciting consignments from Holstein Plaza members! Type or numbers, there is something for everyone!
Lot #1 hails from Larcrest Holsteins. She is Larcrest Caterina, a March 2013 heifer with genomic numbers of +2394GTPI, +1458M, and +3.23T. She is a Man-O-Shan daughter from Larcrest Cale, the current #3 GTPI (+2390) cow of the breed, recently testing 140lbs of milk! Her second dam is Larcrest Crimson, maternal sister to Larcrest Cancun, the #10 GTPI proven sire in the breed. Huge index potential with this family!
Lot #4 is consigned by Elite Dairy Genomics of Chebanse, IL. EDG Dahlia Uno 2307-ET is +2432GTPI +1446M, +3.30T, and +2.95UDC. She is a June 2013 Numero Uno daughter from Ladys-Manor S Dahlia-ET (+2342GTPI). The dam is just fresh and looks amazing, and is backed by 11 generations of VG or EX dams. The second dam of lot #3 is Ladys-Manor Allanas Dora-ET EX-92, followed by two EX-95pt cows - Ms Durchan Lady Allana-ET and Coldsprings Dur Chan 109-ET. Type and numbers with this one!
Lot #13 is also consigned by Elite Dairy Genomics. Ms Aubrey GC Adelyn 2092-ET is a March 2013 daughter of Ms Atlees Shottle Aubry-ET EX-92. Her second dam is the 2005 All-American Senior 3-Year-Old, MD-Delight Durham Atlee-ET EX-92. Her fourth dam is the great Ms Kingstead Chief Adeen-ET EX-94. This is a great show prospect from an All-American Family!
Lot #21 is Greenlea P Carama-Red-ET, from Greenlea Holsteins. She is a red September 2012 Picolo from well-known Yursden Kite Caramac-Red EX-92. Caramac was the International Red and White Cow of the Year in 2007, and was All-American as a Junior 2-Year-Old and 4-Year-Old, and was nominated many other times. Five maternal sisters to Carama-Red are already excellent! This is a beautiful heifer with huge show potential!
Lot #34 is consigned by Double Eagle Dairy. Solid-Gold De Brk Heaven-ET is an early daughter of the #1 PTAT (+3.76) of the breed, Brokaw. Her dam is Siemers Sanchez Happygal VG-87 at 2-03. Happygal was recently selected Intermediate and Reserve Grand Champion of the 2013 New York Spring Junior Holstein Show. The second dam is Siemers Goldwyn Happy EX-91. This sweet calf is a potential 10th generation excellent, definite type potential!
Lot #41 is a choice of two early Earnhardt-P heifers offered by Golden Oaks Farm. The buyer will receive the option to choose either Golden-Oaks Earn Memory-ET, +2046GTPI, +2.54T, +1371M, +463NM or Golden-Oaks Earn My Love-ET, +2246GTPI, +3.25T, +652M, +623NM.
