Eastside named Premier Breeder - Royal Winter Fair

Eastside Holstein, Premier Breeder Royal Winter Fair 2011

Eastside Holsteins captured the huge accomplishment of the overall premier breeder at the Royal Agriculture Fair in Toronto recently. The Holsteins that contributed to this success was first five-year-old and Grand and Supreme Champion, Eastside Lewisdale Gold Missy owned by Morsan Farms, Van Ruinen Dairy, Mark Butz, Gert Andreasen and Georges Uebelhardt. Her Dam Stadacona Outside Abel VG-88 24* produced many animals at Eastside and Lewisdale Herds that have gone on to do extremely well for their owners. Second place junior two-year-old, Eastside Gold Offering VG-87, owned by Maple Keys Holsteins. Her granddam is the famous Igniter Osmond EX-3E 6* at Eastside and the only cow in Canada to have 11 generations that have all completed 60,000 kgs of milk and has 8 daughters either EX or VG. Third place junior two-year-old, Eastside Talent Cam VG 87, owned by Ferme Blondin. Twelveth in the Junior Yearling class was Eastside Stella Artois who is now owned by Ferme Jacobs. Congratulations to all the owners of these animals and a special thank you to those who helped Eastside achieve this precious award, as this has never been awarded to a herd East of Quebec before.
