The second Day at the Derby was held on Friday, May 1 at the beautiful Fasig-Tipton Company grounds in Lexington, Kentucky. The sale had an unofficial average of $18,285.40 and grossed $1,846,825. Top seller for the Day at the Derby at $345,000 was Lot 17, Peak Maxima a +2745G Bombero daughter from Bryhill Ransom Marquisse and the Sully Shottle Mays.Maxima was purchased by Progenesis and was the consignment of Peak Genetics. Second high seller was Lot 3 for $120,000. Seagull-Bay Ssire Debra-ET, a fresh Supersire with a GTPI of +2616 and backed by Pine-Tree Sharla Daphne. Third high seller at $1000,000 was Lot 18, Peak Nicole Spring N951-ET. A February 2015 AltaSpring with a GTPI of +2725, Nicole was consigned by Peak Genetics.
