Champions named at Quebec Spring Holstein Show
Rockymountain Talent Licorice-ET captured the 2011 Quebec Spring Holstein Show being named Grand Champion. Licorice was also the winning four-year-old owned by Ferme Blondin and was named Grand Champion earlier this month at the NY International Holstein Show. Judge Donald Dubois, Princeville, PQ named second place four-year-old, Pierstein Goldwyn Frisou, as grand champion of the show. Frisou is also owned by Ferme Blondin.
Intermediate Champion honors went to the winning senior three-year-old, Donnanview Damion Lyza, owned by Yvon Sicard and Ghyslain Demers. Reserve Intermediate Champion was awarded to the first place senior two-year-old, Midlee Roy Sparkling, owned by Jamie and Petra Black and Micheal Heath.
In the heifer show, Augure Reine Laramie, first place senior yearling owned by Gen-Com Holsteins took home top honors as Junior Champion of the show and second senior yearling, Crovalley Gold Alanis, owned by John Crowley was named reserve.
