AMS Genetics International hires Anna Troester


AMS Genetics International LLC has hired Anna Troester as sales support/export coordinator for their international business of import and export services. In this role, she will coordinate import and export shipping and paperwork including all logistics. In addition, she will assist with the projects and efforts of HolsteinPlaza.com including website updates and the monthly online embryo auctions. Troester will be working out of the Boonsboro, Maryland office.

Troester has a strong background in the dairy industry, growing up on her family’s registered Holstein dairy farm, MAARS Holsteins, near Garnavillo, Iowa. She graduated from University of Wisconsin-Platteville majoring in animal science with a dairy emphasis and biology minor. While at UW-Platteville, Troester was actively involved in the UW-Platteville Pioneer Dairy Club, collegiate judging team, Sigma Alpha Sorority and the agriculture student council. She also held several internships within the dairy industry including her recent work with CRI/Genex this past fall locating, evaluating and picturing daughters for the December 2011 proof release. In May of 2009, Troester was able to study agriculture and more specifically dairy abroad in Dronten, The Netherlands gaining invaluable experience.
