All-Riehl Holsteins Complete Dispersal Concludes


The All-Riehl Holsteins Complete Dispersal was held Friday, August 20th in Himrod, NY and averaged $2764 on 103 lots. Ken and Vivian Riehl hosted their dispersal, which consisted of some high-genomic pedigree animals. Lot 5, JK-Gold Dorcy Pastry-ET, topped the sale at $20,000. With a GTPI of +2239, Pastry is currently the #2 Dorcy in the breed and sold with an $8,500 contract to Genex. She is out of an 85-point Toystory, with the next five dams all scoring excellent and each of them earning GMD and DOM honors (EX-91, 3E-91, 2E-92, 3E-91, EX-90). Selling as Lot 9, UFM-Dubs Elemire-ET sold for $14,500 as another top seller of the day. Elemire is the #1 GTPI Malicieux in the breed and sold with a $7,000 contract to Genex as well. She has a strong pedigree, too, out of an 87-point Goldwyn, and the next five dams scoring VG-87 or higher.
